IGF Board
The member federations appoint the Board Members to govern the International Golf Federation. The IGF Board is currently composed of 10 members who convene regularly. They are responsible for planning, organisation, financing and general oversight of the IGF.
The Board Members are appointed in the following way:
National Federation Members – four Board Members
The R&A – one Board Member
USGA – one Board Member
IGF Administrative Committee – two Board Members
Professional Members – five Board Members
PGA TOUR – one Board Member
European Tour – one Board Member
LPGA – one Board Member
PGA of America – one Board Member
IGF Executive Committee – one Board Member
IGF President – ex officio Board member
The IGF Board maintains a strategic focus in its governance of golf. However, the responsibility for implementing the strategic plan and managing International Golf Federation’s operating activities rests with the Executive Director.
